All life is connected, with plants
at the heart.
Plants account for more than
80% of the Earth’s total biomass.
For hundreds of millions of years,
our planet has been a green world.*
Human civilization has flourished through
the immense benefits provided by plants,
sustaining us through food, clothing, and shelter,
and even offering comfort
and emotional well-being in our daily lives.
Yet in our relentless pursuit of prosperity,
We have lost sight of our vital relationship with plants,
and now find ourselves confronting
planetary boundaries.
In this moment, there is much we can learn from plants.
They exist on a timescale entirely different from our own,
and their bodies are structured in ways
fundamentally unlike those of animals.
Through complex connections with countless forms of life,
they have helped shape and sustain the Earth’s living,
regenerative systems.
The Themed Pavilion is grounded in the latest scientific knowledge
and presented through art and entertainment
that allows visitors of all ages to experience discovery and wonder.
Guided by the principles of Nature-based Solutions (NbS),
the pavilion aims to inspire meaningful changes in behavior
and serve as a pathway toward a nature-positive future
and a circular economy.
